“Bright, light straw-yellow colour, a little paler on the rim. The nose is fresh and thirst-quenching with up-front aromas of passionfruit and gooseberries, along with soft notes of fresh herbs and a little cut-grass, unfolding chalky mineral notes. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate has soft and light flavours of passionfruit and gooseberries, herbs and nettles with an overlay of chalkiness, The fruit forms a light, tight core showing green capsicum notes, and the mouthfeel possesses light phenolic textures with balanced acidity. As the wine flows, the flavours recede, and the finish is light and nuanced. This is a light, dry Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, gooseberries, herbs and cut grass flavours along with a soft, dry, textured mouthfeel.”
